Brendan Stamp
Brendan is an acknowledged expert in Ireland in the field of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems. At the fore of Industry thinking, Brendan has over 15 years direct experience with a wide variety of clients across multiple sectors including some of the largest Multinationals in the country.
Brendan co founded Guardian Fire & Security with Jackie Carthy in 2004 setting a new standard in the south for service provision in the life safety industry.
As Managing Director, Brendan is responsible for strategic planning, research of new product technology, project procurement & management as well as day to day operations. Brendan is an Electronic Engineering graduate of W.I.T. and a member of the Institute of Engineer’s of Ireland. He also holds amongst others a Certificate in Theory/Design of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems to IS3218:2009, as well as being certified in the provision and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers to IS291:2002.

Jackie Carthy Jackie has over 15 years commercial experience, having spent a number of years working for a local radio broadcaster and managing other successful business ventures. However, she is probably most well known for outstanding achievements in the field of athletics representing both Kilmore AC and Ireland.
At Guardian Fire & Security, Jackie is responsible for managing the financial activities of the company which includes financial planning, monitoring of accounts including credit control and providing leadership and direction on all financial matters. Together Jackie & Brendan’s vision, guidance and understanding of the market have enabled Guardian Fire & Security to now occupy a leader position.

James Stamp
James spent his early career at Intel Ireland where he worked his way up through the ranks before returning to Wexford in 2006 and joining Guardian Fire & Security. Initially employed as a Service & Commissioning Engineer, James was promoted to Service Manager in January 2010 following 4 years under the mentorship of Brendan and demonstrating a natural enthusiasm for the business.

Alan Walsh
Alan has a broad and comprehensive knowledge of the Fire Industry following a career spanning 15 years. He has worked with some of the countries largest engineering firms and brought a number of high profile projects to completion. Alan joined Guardian Fire & Security in July 2009 and his responsibilities include the commissioning, servicing & maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems for clients in the Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Cork and Midland Regions.

John Ryan
John began his career working as a Quality Engineer with a leading Medical Device Manufacturer before retraining and working as an Electrician where he lead and managed a number of Industrial and Commercial installation projects.
John Joined Guardian Fire & Security in early 2010 and has primary responsibility for the commissioning, servicing & maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems for our clients in the Wexford, Wicklow and Dublin Regions.

Larry Kirwan
A strong negotiator with a proven track record, Larry has over 8 years of new business development and sales experience in various positions. Some of his earlier roles included that of Account Manager at a leading Plant Hire Company in the South East.
Appointed Sales Engineer at Guardian Fire & Security in February 2011, Larry is tasked with promoting and selling the range of services available from Guardian Fire & Security, identifying new markets, expanding company territory and increasing revenue growth.
Larry is certified in the provision and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers to IS291:2002 He also holds a certificate in Training & Continuing Education from NUI Maynooth and a Construction Safety Management Certificate from C.I.F. Dublin.

Shelly O’ Reilly
Shelly spent 8 years working in the private sector before making a move to industry in 2005 where she worked as an Accounts Assistant. Shelly joined Guardian Fire & Security in January 2009 and is principally responsible to the directors for the maintaining of the companies accounts and payroll, whilst also assisting in the implementation of the companies financial strategies.

Margaret Goldsmith
Margaret brings over 15 years experience in the services sector to Guardian Fire & Security. Her previous roles have included that of HR & Training Manager with a leading 4 Star Hotel and Recruitment Consultant.
